100 Push-Ups in 6 Weeks

Posted by Chris Morrell on July 23rd, 2008 in Fitness (tagged , )

A little while ago I came across onehundrespushups, which is a site that’s supposed to train you to do 100 push-ups in a row after 6 weeks.  I decided to give it a try, and proposed a group effort on twitter.  So far a few people have joined in:

  1. Reed Gustow
  2. Nate Gasser
  3. Joe Cairns
  4. Roz Duffy
  5. Howie Ross
  6. Maya Northen

Want to join us?  We start August 11th, and see where we all are after 6 weeks.

I was wondering how everyone came out with your goal of 100 push-ups in a row?

I think pretty much everyone slowed down after 3 or so weeks. I’m definitely better at push ups now, but I certainly can’t do 100. Maybe someday…
